SpiceJet Ramps Up for Winter: 280 Daily Flights Incoming

SpiceJet is gearing up for a high-altitude return this winter with a sharp ramp-up in its daily flight operations. Currently operating around 100 flights per day, the airline is planning to increase this number to nearly 280 flights/day starting October — a strategic move aligned with India’s busy travel season.

To achieve this, SpiceJet will induct 25 aircraft, of which 21 are being leased (including 4 Boeing 737 MAX planes). The remaining 4 are SpiceJet’s own aircraft that had been grounded and are now being revived.
