Within 45 days, commercial activities are expected to commence, with the launch phase connecting at least ten cities, making it the second major airport in the National Capital Region after Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL).

The 1,334-hectare Jewar project is being constructed in stages, with phase one featuring a single 3,900-meter runway and a terminal that can handle 12 million passengers annually.
