Bachelor of Vocation (B.Voc) in Airport & Aviation Management is an industry-aligned, job-oriented,3 years degree course in the Aviation sector, approved by University Grants Commission (UGC). The course is being offered by Jain (Deemed-to-be University) in collaboration and Conducted at PTC Aviation Academy

Bachelor of Vocation (B. Voc.) courses are offered across multiple sectors for students who have completed their 12th standard or equivalent. As against the common degree such as BCA, B.Sc, B. Com, a student pursuing B. Voc. will be more nuanced in industry-relevant skills. As per the UGC guidelines prospective students will be awarded Certificate, Diploma, and Advanced Diploma during his/her 3-year term pursuing B.Voc. The course is mapped with job role descriptions as per National Skills Qualification Framework (NSQF). It is developed in consultation with the Ministry of Skill Development, Govt. the, of India, and the National Skills Development Corporation (NSDC). B. Voc. is targeted toward those who want to enhance their employability opportunities through earning, learning and growing. Since the curriculum is industry and work-integrated, thus increasing the opportunities for gainful employment.

Eligibility Criteria:

•  A pass in Higher Secondary, PUC or SSLC with a 3-year Diploma
•  6 Semesters (3 years ) – Multiple exits as per UGC guidelines
•  Certification levels will lead to Diploma/Advanced Diploma/B.VOC
•  The unique model introduced by UGC for a 3-year Regular Program.

The University offers B.Voc. across various industry sectors such as Media & Entertainment, Travel & Tourism, IT / ITeS, and more. The students after completing these bachelor programs can explore opportunities to work in various domestic and multinational companies. For all its skill-based programs Jain (Deemed-to-be University), leverages the existing skill ecosystem to collaborate with the Skill Knowledge Provider (SKP), to conduct the Vocational Education Program(s). As part of the collaboration, Jain (Deemed-to-be University) based on specific parameters identifies Skill Knowledge Providers across specific/various sector skills such as Aviation, Tourism, ITeS, Healthcare, BFSI, etc. The University being the academic partner, would impart and award credits for the “Academic’ content” (or General Component) of the Curriculum; and the Skill Partner will facilitate the University in imparting and awarding credits for ‘Skill oriented training’ content of the curriculum to students, including the Qualification Packs (QPs) as per the NSQF guidelines.
